All's well end's well

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and i believe majority of you are now happily back at your hometown (if any) and enjoying the holidays while waiting for ang pows Chinese New Year...

On thursday night, Snoopy and I went to watch this chinese comedy, "All's Well End's Well" (Ga Yao Hei Xi). Somehow, it was shown blardy late at night nationwide (10 minutes to midnite)

Official poster: All's well end's well

This show was practically a remake from the previous movie with the same title starring Stephen Chow. Probably the writers run out of new ideas for CNY movies-.-"

old version

The whole story basically revolves around an older sister (Sandra Ng) who is a spinster. Apparently there's a sacred rule that says "elder must marry first or else younger can't marry". Due to the fact that the older sister is "a piece of art" herself that's why she is a spinster duh! her younger brother (Ronald Cheng) hired a Dr. Love (Louis Koo) to help her sister so that he can get married himself eventually lar duh!

As Sandra Ng falls for Louis Koo (duh, like what else is new?), Louis Koo found the love of his life!
HOW NOW?????

This is where the twist and turn comes in and prepare yourself for a hearty laugh session.

look at all this wacky faces, how can you not laugh?

All in all, this is a joyful relaxing slapstick comedy meant to cheer you up. It doesn't requires any intellectual thinking so you can give your brain a much needed rest.

If you are familiar with Sandra Ng (Ng Kwan Yu) then you will have some idea how her character in the movie will be like. Depends to your liking, some might find it funny, some might find it gross, disgusting whatever.

I'll rate it 6/10 because it really cracked me up and i quite enjoy it. But then, i think the story line is really quite simple and mediocre. Nothing much to shout of.... apart from the fact that it's funny.

Well, at least this movie will make you laugh. And laughter is the best medicine, no?
