Year end = busy busy busy

Wahhh apparently there’s just so many things to be done before the dawn of 2009! With so many things to do, so many things to see, life is just so hectic, hectic, hectic, but I enjoyed every second of it ^.^v

For instance, there’s Lewin’s birthday to be celebrated

boss

Yay! We went to have a crabby dinner at Taman Megah. The restaurant is named Fatty Crab. And true to its name, the crabs there all are really fat and juicy! Two thumbs up! Unfortunately, I was too hungry hence no photos hehe~

*aftermath*

After dinner, we had a drink at Wong Kok SS2. There, I was the “departing to Aussie soon” girl *if you don’t understand its ok, it was a private joke anyway*

me and the giant milk tea

birthday boy hogging the milk tea

Having seen the giant milk tea for birthday celebration so many time, this is my first time experienced it myself. In order to claim that so-called free drink, we purposely spent RM30++ on food. Take note that all of us just had a sumptuous dinner right before this.

highlight of the day! wee~

In the end, we let creativity take charge and find creatively fun ways to finished up all the foods and drinks. Don’t be alarmed that we were probably the loudest group ever. Every time. Any place. Just us.

Yeah, i know, we are darn creative!

Leg + Nail = Injury

Snoopy literally end the year of 2008 by injuring his leg!

What a way to to rejoice the end of 2008-.-"

He just stepped down from the train and unluckily his leg stepped onto a big, crooked, rusty nail he was too eager to see me ho ho

THe nail was so crooked and wicked that it pierce straight through the shoe! Oh lordy, this means that he should and need to buy a new pair of shoes.

He removed the nail and we headed straight to a nearby clinic to have a jab of tetanus. The cleaning process seems quite ordeal luckily i wasn't in the room to witness it. Or i may winced and look more painful and tormented than the patient himself which later the doctor may chose to sent me off for 'disturbing him from performing his professional duty' haha

the wound was cleanse and dressed

have to wrapped the feet with plastic before bath as the dressing must remain dry at all time

Fortunately, the wound heal fast and Snoopy is all but bouncing and jumping up and down almost the next day. TWO days at most.

Roadtrip to Penang!

As you all know, my vacation for this holiday is a road trip to Penang. Well, i thought it was very the obvious so you should know about it haha~

Compared to my previous posts about my trip to Penang (this, this, this and this) this time i'll introduce something new to you hehehe~~~ follow me as i am sure there will be something new you can learn here ngek ngek ngek~~~

Let's see, i've stayed there for 4 days 3 nights and here are the compilation of things i found interesting worth to share with all of you here.

Interesting Thing #1

There's a funfair going on in Penang now. It's Euro Park which was here and based in Bkt Tinggi Klang before shifted to Penang island. There, ain't it interesting???

Hahaha okok that was not interesting i gedit! The interesting part was that unlike in Klang, the Euro Park in Penang is bigger and much more grand. In fact, it sorta collaborate with the government's agencies like Jabatan Perhilitan, Tentera, Polis, etc and stuff like that together to organized a fair that suits all.

The space is bigger, more things to see (although not really interesting to me) but they still charge the same price as in Klang, RM3. not fair

The real interesting part was (especially to those who like manly gruesome there's live boxing! Well you can call it a sport i guess, but let's just say it doesn't humor me nor am i interested in it. Not when this happen...

That poor man was knocked unconscious and was put on stretcher and given first aids by the paramedics.

However, this is my first time seeing real live boxing though. All the contestant were from the armed force academies from all states if i am not wrong.

sorry for the photo quality though

Interesting Thing #2

We went for Canopy Walk at Botanical Garden in the morning but upon reach there we found out that the Canopy Walk was closed due to "upgrading work" by JKR. We climbed up the hill anyway and boy, was the hill steep! The road are winding and it's so steep that every step you take is probably equivalent to 10 steps you take on normal flat land. It's probably 35 degrees steep i think.

It's so steep that when you successfully climb up, you have to walk in reverse manner to avoid hurting your knees. I kid you not!

This is how i looked like half way up the hill. Probably only a fifth up the hill-.-"
The monk behind us was walking backward down the hill-.-"

But this girl, this girl was actually RUNNING up the hill! *faint*
Most of the time she can't really run because she had to wait for me, who was literally crawling then...*sobs malu-nya*

here she was at the FIRST rest stop waiting for me to crawl there-.-"

Needless to say, i somehow managed to crawled to the first rest stop and survive. And that's the end of me. Later i found out that i have only walked less than 1.5km WTH???? my legs certainly felt like i have run a 7km marathon (i have run 7km marathon before and survive ok!)

Luckily i don't have to rolled down the hill back because there's a jeep that fetch walkers that are tired have no time/chance to train stamina like me down the hill. Thank goodness!

Interesting Thing #3

The panoramic view from Fort Cornwallis Lighthouse was magnificent. It was dub The Penang Lighthouse to many.

bro at the peak of the lighthouse enjoying the view (bout 14metres tall i think)

But here i was, at the ground, waiting under the shades because i was wearing a skirt. down -.-! Well, you can still climb up the narrow stairs if you don't mind that everyone at the bottom know the colour of your panties!

Interesting Thing #4

Here's the history of Penang that i shall gladly enlighten all of you. I know how some of you felt about history but no worries, i shall k.i.s.s. plus pictures for easier understanding.

Ehem, here we go...

Long long time ago, we all know that Francis Light founded Penang. However, not all people are happy about it. There's one particular boy, decided he should put a stop to it.

Boy: Eh, you British guy, you don't simply come and rule people ok? I kill you then you know! You don't thing you got "lampu" then i scared of you ok?

Bang! and Francis Light was history.

However, the story not yet end! One particular pirate come into the picture.

Pirate: Eh, boy! How dare you? How dare you kill 'lampu' before me???
Boy: Errr, pirate kor kor, who call you so late? Careful your gun ok, don't simply aim...

Of course, this version of history will never make it into the history book because it is simply too interesting blek;p

Interesting Thing #5

You guys have been to Khoo Kongsi and Cheah Kongsi right? BUT have you been to LIM Kongsi?

Yes, there is a Lim Kongsi, unknown to all along with several other smaller and less commercialized Kongsi.

The Lim's sibling at Lim Kongsi

Next trip, I will go to Lee Kongsi for sure! It is situated somewhere near Burma Road i heard.

Interesting Thing #6

There's a Beryl's Chocolate Boutique situated along Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion that is a must-visit for all chocolate lovers out there. Apparently, they gave out free chocolate sampling to visitors and a tour inside the boutique.

stick this sticker on your sleeve as it is the passport to free chocolate sampling

This chocolate boutique is interesting because the chocolate sold there is not available elsewhere. Despite Beryl's chocolate is a Malaysian product, however, due to some unknown reason, those rare and wonderful chocolates are only sold in that sole boutique.

And since our tour guide was so wonderful, we didn't left empty handed. We bought a box of chocolate with real mango fruit filling. Yummy~~~

Chocolate with real mango fruit filling with no added preservative

One box got 9 big chunks of chocolates which cost RM30
We got 10% discount though ;)

Interesting Thing #7

My first time eating "shark fin" bao at a dim sum restaurant. Interesting. RM5 a plate of TWO small baoz.

Errr, can you see any shark fin? coz i see prawn only-.-"

Interesting Thing #8

The best of the best laksa in Penang! At Pasar Air Itam food court/medan selera! The modest stall was operated by a mute uncle. The laksa was simply delicious and makes you yearn for more. The soup was generously filled with fish stock thingy and the best part? It only cost RM2.30 for a small bowl and RM2.80 for a big bowl.

The best of the best laksa in Penang!

remember this stall ok? must go try, at medan selera Pasar Air Itam!

Oh, and there's also another stall selling fantastic prawn mee and lam mee there.

look at the generous portion of prawn mee~ slurp~

OK that's all, i am hungry d now. Wished Penang island can float all the way down to Port Klang ngek ngek ngek! Then all problems will not be a problem anymore.

Back from Penang

I'm back!

Tired and happy.

Now, i'm officially broke like a pauper.

I am wishing for money would grow on tree for me to pluck.

Since money is a limiting factor, i don't think i can go anywhere else for the next two weeks. Well maybe just some occasional yamcha sessions, some shopping trips in town, the rest of the time, i think i shall rot at home.

****************************************

Just back from Penang, i found out that mom had a knee injury! Scared the shit outta me because she can't walk at all! Luckily Snoopy is around to help or else i think i'll just helplessly broke down and don't know what to do-.-" yes i feel like i am hopeless too

At last managed to send mom to the hospital, took an x-ray and the rude and probably stupid doctor diagnosed the case as "knee pain"

Well, hello? isn't obvious? If not pain go see doctor for what? What we want to know is WHAT causes the "knee pain" la, idiot! That doctor (is a she) didn't even LOOK at my mom's leg throughout the whole time!

She: what's the matter? (in hokkien)
Mom: Dunno why my knee very pain can't walk la doctor
She: Got fall down? Previously got injury before?
Mom: No. Today i mop the floor half way then like that liao. Yesterday still can walk ler
She: (know it all tone) Oh, you kneel down and mop ler?
Mom: NO la i use the stick mop de
She: OK, go take x-ray at Room 6

As if we live in the hospital all our life and automatically should know where ROOM 6 is!

After taking the x-ray film, we head back to give to the doctor, who just take a glance at it and prescribe my mom to take an injection and instruct my mom to meet her ONE HOUR LATER.

Even Snoopy was not impressed by her. One look at the prescription Snoopy explain to mommy that it is a very strong painkiller. At least now we know why are we taking injection-.-"

So we had to lepak AT hospital for one hour before can go see her lor.

ONE HOUR LATER, we go see her. Snoopy wheeled mom in while me and bro stay outside and wait because they don't allowed so many people go in at a time to avoid human congestion. Go in see her LESS THAN ONE MINUTE SNOOPY ALREADY WHEELED MY MOM OUT!

I was so surprised and i asked Snoopy why so fast??? According to Snoopy, the doctor just diagnosed the case as "knee pain" and instruct them to take drug at the counter.

She make all of us wait for what i perceived as un-needed additional ONE HOUR just for her to diagnosed mom with "knee injury" and prescribe drugs that are only to be taken when pain is felt. WTH????

Snoopy sarcastically conclude that the doctor need ONE HOUR to think what type of drugs to prescribe out ma, dang!

Ironic isn't it, mommy's flesh and blood all waited outside while my dear Snoopy, is the one accompany mom all the time? Hahaha nola not because we are bad kids la, simply because Snoopy knows a thing or two about medical ma compared to me and bro. Some more Snoopy got more energy than me to control the wheel chair... that's all.

On the road

Exam's over! Yayyyyyyy!!!!!

I don't want to think about it anymore. I knew i did badly for this paper (badly as in horrendous i assure you) and i know my future looks even dimmer now. Really hate it when i overheard some people (especially those i don't like) brag about how easy this paper was, how unexpected it would be this easy, how not challenging and tough at all and those craps! I wish you will just shut up!

On a brighter side, i will be on a road trip for the next few days yayyy!!!!

Looking forward to the challenge of road trip to Penang YO YO!! I am driving down YO!

Alright, i shall go sleep now. Gotta wake up at the ungodly hour of 6AM as i plan my journey to start at 7AM...reach Penang by lunch time - p.e.r.f.e.c.t.

Value of grass

Do you know that grass can be sold for USD420???!!!!!

Maybe not your average backyard grass, but the grass that were cut on the Bird Nest Olympic stadium in China. Yup, those grass that were cut on the night of the closing ceremony of Olympic in China. OF course, plus a model of Olympic torch made from some left over steel that framed the Bird Nest stadium (unused left over steel).

Packed nicely in a clear box, the combination of the unused left over steel model Olympic torch and some grass, it is expected to fetch over 2,900 yuan.

Isn't this unbelievable? I mean, would you part with your hard earn money (a whooping USD420 no less) to buy some grass?

Grass would still dried up and withered no? Well, maybe the grass has been stepped over by Yao Ming and Beckham for all i know but then, USD420????

Well, maybe that's just me.

Since they are preparing like 10,000 boxes of those thing, i am sure some better-to-do people than me will buy it. I think. As a souvenir. *cough*

Click here if you wanna read the news

Say, what if i cut my own backyard grass and sell it at a fraction of that price, like RM420, would anyone buy it? If anyone is interested to buy my grass, please email me;p

Twilight

OK i am back to earth, back to reality.

Despite how i raved about the movie Twilight, i gotta be fair and admit that the movie kinda sucks. Now before you aim all your claws at me let me explain first! Keep your claws away ladies...

Twilight, has a very good story line. But, when it was portrayed on the screen, it kinda lack some oomph factor. The movie was rather average and the impact just wasn't that great. However, the actors and actresses are all super cute and sexy (especially the Cullens) Hence, i guess that kinda make up for what the movie lacked off.

The rating i'll give 5/10. HOWEVER, due to Edward Cullen *squealed* i'll add 2 points more, become 7/10.

Now see what i mean? This movie was a HIT due to EDWARD CULLEN!

Yesterday when i watched that movie in the cinema, my hands were practically on my face all the time while i 'ooohhh' and 'aaaahhhh' every few minutes not to mentioned giggling like a dumb school kid. I was attracted to the actor, not the movie. And i believe same goes for many girls out there.

On a brighter side, the soundtrack was not too bad! But then, i think Robert Pattinson (Edward) is not ready yet to change his career to singing. His songs were....errrr....sucks not my cup of tea?

I have the Twilight OST already hahaha so if anyone want it just drop me an email! I'll gladly share it with you.

As i was saying the Cullens were cute, here's some of the pictures i googled from the internet. I am still indecisive of who's more good looking...hehe

Our bad guy hero, Edward Cullen...

our hero, Edward a.k.a Robert Pattinson?

Edward and Bella going to a prom: sweet

What about Jasper Hale?

I think he is just so sensitive and sweet

I really think Jasper is cute, delicate kind of cute

Or what about Emmett Cullen? Edward's brother? Ain't he cute as well?

Emmett has this boyish kinda look.
Reminds me of high school jocks...

Oh all three of them is so cute! Didn't i warned you guys that the Cullens are hot?! Here's a couple more pictures for you to feast your eyes.

I'm in LOVE!

I'm in L.O.V.E!

Totally unconditionally and irrevocable in LOVE! *swoon*

Yes, along with millions other girls out there who fell in love with Edward Cullen. Or Robert Pattinson. Errr whichever la, both also so charming and sexy and they are one. I have officially joined the club. *throw confetti*

In case you are lost, I am talking about Twilight here. A fantasy romance movie! Probably one of the biggest hits that ever make way to our cinemas. It is such a MUST-SEE kinda movie and i seriously reckon to all the girls out there. Main casts for Twilight are Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart).

Twilight: best romance movie of the year!

At first, i don't even know what this movie is all about, and now, i'm in love! Haha...i'm glad that i succumbed to temptation after all i was supposed to stayed at home and study for exams

How can i not fell in love? Edward Cullen is just sooooooo sex-y and dangerous and beautiful all at once. His eyes, his penetrating gaze makes my heart go Ooo~la~la~ His thick eyebrows... is just so sexy! I like-y!!!!! *practically drooling*

Seductive ain't our vampire?

Yes, he is a vampire. A sexy one nonetheless. Twilight is actually a movie directed based on Stephenie Meyer's best selling novels, Twilight. In fact, it is such a hot selling novel that it currently has been translated to numerous languages (37 i think) around the globe. And, there's sequel following the success of twilight. It is so famous that it's called THE Twilight Saga.

Not only is Edward dangerous and seductive, his whole vampire family were sexy as well. The Cullens were hawwwtt! They girls were pretty and sexy whilst the guys were charming and good looking.

In short, the male Cullens were gorgeous hunks that you'll wished to have them as your partner during prom night!

Short synopsis: About a girl, Bella Swan transferring to a small rainy town, Forks to live with her father. Met Edward Cullen at school, and instead of studying for biology, chemistry sparks. Edward saved Bella from an accident which makes Bella suspicious of who Edward really are. Somehow, she learned that Edward and all his adoptive family members are vampires. And Edward is dangerous, because Edwards thirst for her blood. So how does a mere mortal falls in love with a vampire? And will true love wins in the end? How to choose; between life and death? All this will be answered when you watch that movie!

He is just so cute, even looking pale like this

Don't we all love piggy back ride?
aaaahhhhhhhhhh *fake swoon*

THREE (3) FACTS THAT MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT EDWARD CULLEN, I MEAN ROBERT PATTINSON:

1) most people are not aware that he acted in Harry Potter as well! Now, how can we not know if there's a hunk in Harry Potter movie you say? Well, that's because his role is quite small. He was THE Cedric Gregory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Don't believe me? See for yourself then.

See, i'm not lying to you

2) He was born in May 13, 1986. That makes him twenty-two years old this year. Same age as me WTH???!!!!! Shared the same birthday as my friend, CYP as well. Haiz, lucky you!

3) He looked gorgeous just the way he is, without all those make-ups that make him looked ghastly pale.

aaaahhhh *double swoon*

Now i am so going to collect all four books in Twilight Saga, namely, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. The fifth book, Midnight Sun, is still on hold apparently, due to writer's chagrin over the leak of the book's draft over the internet. Therefore, the book is still in pending mode. I want to collect all the books and claim my very own Edward to me-self *hint hint my birthday's coming*

Good news for all: The sequel to Twilight, New Moon is in the making! It is expected to hit the screen in 2009 i think. *yoohoo jumping up and down ecstatically* Can't wait!

If you are wondering where did i get all this information and pictures, well, just google it and there are heaps of it over the internet!

Say NO to plastic bags

As the title mentioned above, its self explanatory.

Obvious reason? to safe the environment, of course! Protect our mother nature!

This campaign was done by Aeon Shopping Centre, or better knowned as Jaya Jusco.

Do lend a hand and support this campaign ok?

It's pretty simple, just bring your own bags, any bags and yes you can reuse those plastic bags you have at home when you want to make some purchase in Jusco from 2-4 December! This way, you can (1) reuse your plastic bags yang berlambak-lambak at home; (2) save the environment by using LESS plastic bags (not all plastic bags are biodegradable and even if they do, it take a long long time) and (3) you are doing a good deed for you, your family, and your future!

Starting on January 2009, every 25th day of the month is "Say NO to plastic bags Day".

For more information, please click on the pictures shown.

I know my rights!

Today hor, my mom woke me up just to get my J card. She happily call me continued my sleep as she went Jusco herself. Alone! How can??? How can she go without me??? hrrrmmppphhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

When she came back, she sees me grumbling, so she offered to go Jusco with me again! *weee!* Even that she have to casually dropped remarks like isn't i'm supposed to be studying for my exams bla bla bla?...Look, i only go to accompany her ok? she invited me ok? its so not the other round. I did not tempted her at all*fluttering eyes lashes madly*

Lo and behold, here's the exciting part! We went to a renowned pharmacy and checking out prices for some beauty products (girls mah!) when something caught our eyes! (fine we purposely searched for it, happy?) The price is good, definitely more worth it than other stores so of course buy la!

When the cashier scanned the item, the price shown on the machine is RM5 higher! Nabeh, think my money easy to cheat is it? So being a smart consumer, *ehem puff up my chest proudly* I talked to the cashier, nicely. Truly!

The conversation goes something like this:

Me: Excuse me, how much is this product again?

Cashier: RM4x.xx

Me: But the price tag there clearly shows that it is RM3x.xx

Cashier: ........somewhat dumbfounded, calling other people to check

A (rude) Malay promoter: Miss, this is the(expensive) price. The price that you have seen is no longer applicable because the promotion has ended. This is not our fault, I mean it is our fault, but you can choose to purchase it or not to purchase......

later she added that the promotion is for
Merdeka Sales.

She just dug her own grave! Merdeka Sales??? Hello??? Now is like, December. Christmas Sales d lor!!! Means how long they did not change the price tag?????

By then quite a number of people already lining up behind me and witness the whole incident.

Me: BUT this is the price tag shown!
Clearly, i refused to butt in. Think i am stupid is it? Of course they have to honor the lower price la, prick!

I even talk loudly with my mom, (in Chinese) that they are cheating people's money and have no intergrity and how i have my rights as a consumer which stated that i can sue them to NCCC or MDTCA. Even FOMCA! (Don't pray-pray arr).

I don't care if the whole world thinks i am a nasty customer (at times i can be) but here i am just practising my rights as a consumer! *chant: be bright, be right, smart consumer, fight for your rights*

Later, she called another lady, assuming is the supervisor of that shop, or even manager i don't know, retold the whole situation, and this nice lady, also a Malay, say they will honor the lower price. She was smiling all the way as she did the transaction. Genuinely. See, this is what i call good customer service!

That rude promoter keep talk loudly so that everyone can heard her, "Rugi lagi, Jual murah, rugilah".

Heck, as if i care! I was contemplating should i rebutt, but i think better off it. I don't want to stoop so low to her level. If she don't care about her image, i do.

Sometimes, there are solid reasons as to why some people forever stay where they are.

Attitude.

With those attitude, how can one go far? Don't get me wrong, i am not discriminating promoters, just
HER. I myself have been a promoter countless time especially during the school breaks or holidays to earn extra pocket money so i know how it feels to be a promoter. There is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing promoter as a profession, even long term profession, as i have many promoter friends up to now. We still keep in touch and are in good terms.

I don't anti promoters in general, just HER!

And of course, i feel very happy and proud of myself! It is so satisfying to be able to defend yourself instead of meekly get cheated i tell you. I deserved a pat on my back, don't cha think so? ;)

P/S: the conversation was actually conversed in BM, and i translated it to English for easier reading but I promised, the content is really absolutely the same. No changes or whatsoever has been made to the content. NONE whatsoever. The whole incident and conversation really happened in that way.

All turns out well in the end

Year 3 Semester 2 is officially over yesterday...well, minus the exams i mean...without realising it, this short semester is over. The pass 7 weeks was like...i dunno, it kinda slip passed through me without me realising it. OMG!!! It's exam time again!

ERrrr....let's not go there...let's talk of something else shall we?

Let's see, oh ya, yesterday being the last day of the semester, our lecturer gave all of us the feedbacks for all the campaigns...Sadly, i wasn't in the lecture hall. I know, i know, it's such an important session and i missed it! Sigh...i'm pretty sad about it too *watery eyed*

You see, i wasn't able to make it in time because i was late. Now why was i late? I was doing my FYP all night long till almost dawn. So i was super exhausted and hence overslept! *bummer*

By the time i reached uni, (without breakfast or brunch) i still didn't make it. So i have to sit outside waiting till she finished her "session" then only can i go in and see the remarks given by all tutors. Not to mentioned, take a lot a lot of photographs with my campaign members! *weee yippiee*

Lucky enough that quite a number of people brought their camera as mine, heh..the battery exhausted within a few minutes. (sorry lor i don't have time to recharge my battery ma, i was busy with my FYP remember?)

Speaking of the campaign, the night before i had sent out an email to everyone suggesting that we wear our campaign tshirts for last round of photograph session. Only ONE replied my email. Hence i was very worried, thinking this will not worked out *sobs*

But i don't want to admit defeat so easily hence i put it in my Facebook status and hoping others will noticed it and...well make it a success of course! God willing, quite a number of them noticed it and the reply was more than favorable.

Still not satisfied, i even PM those who was still online in MSN (that time was past 12am, quite late) and remind them to wear our campaign tshirt plus get them to spread the news to all their friends. I even SMSed to some of them!

Hahaha see how gung-ho i was with all the tshirts and photo session thing? Hehehe i'm quite proud of myself ^.^v Didn't know i can achieved it.

On that faithful day, 70% turn out wearing the campaign tshirt! YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! i was more than happy because the results is as good as it can get! With such a short notice, i'm sure the news won't be able to reach ALL people, but most, is good enough for me ;)

Initially, i thought it's gonna be just a handful of us wearing it-.-"

P/S: this wearing campaign tshirt thingy was first done by the seniors (Breast cancer group) and later adopted by EL group. Thanks to some nice EL members that share this idea with me so that i can share it with all my campaign members as well! Good things are meant to be shared ain't it?!

Double happiness

Today is a good day. Quite good. Really.

It could have been better of course, but can't complain...

Happiness no. 1:
Not too long ago, there's these three girls betting on who will get the higher marks for a particular assignment. One of the girls were pretty upset and negative....keep thinking she'll die and fail her assignment. That is utter rubbish of course because she is capable to pull it through, despite what she thinks of herself.

To cut the story short, three girls then have a bet to motivate each other. The bet was, IF the girl get higher marks (means she win la) she will treat the other two girls a Secret Recipe's cake each. But if she lost the bet, the other two girls will have to buy her Starbucks coffee. Fair enough.

And of course, she won at the end of the day, by one mark! Hahahahaha so Secret Recipe's cake is on her lor ;p And this girl is crossbun.

Hahahaha i think she must have felt kinda torn between happy for getting good marks and annoyed for having to fork out money buying us cakes....The ones that walks away with the cakes were yours truly and Mary hahahaha....EJ kinda annoyed for not making the bet as well so he missed out the chance...ngek ngek ngek...

Thanks for the cheese cake, Crossbun! muacks!

Happiness no. 2:
Out of the blue, Dior Mobile truck came to our uni! Okay okay not really to our uni, but nearby. Practically just across the road (outside Jaya One).

Yes, Dior. As in Christian Dior. THE Christian Dior.

So this mobile truck was actually here to promote their new mascara, Diorshow, Iconic. All you have to do is try out the new mascara (Dior girls will applied it for you), fill up your particulars and voila! You'll be given a small sample of mini Iconic to try it out at home.

google-d and found this picture

Just like that! Simple isn't it? Now tell me, which girl won't go "wahhhhhhhh" when Dior is giving out free samples??? It's not cheap ok? One wand of mascara cost RM98 lerrr....and it can only last you for three months...after three months you have to discard it whether you finished using it or not (to avoid contamination, breeding ground for bacteria which will cause skin allergy).

So yayyy!!!!!!!!!! double happiness.......to know more about Dior Iconic Mascara or their mobile truck thingy, click here

Okay folks, I'm off to eat my cheese cake now, so tata!

What's happening

today is a happening day. Because a lot of things happened of course.

First, today is our last tutorial with PRPM tutor as she will be flying off to Belgium with her husband pretty soon. Syok hor??? And i also found out that Belgium people speaks French, German, and Dutch language! Not only is Belgium famous for its sinfully delicious chocolates and beer, apparently it's also well known for its diamonds....*bling bling* yayaya i am katak bawah tempurung so?

on an unrelated event...
my mates and i were pretty excited about the coming campaign especially the part about recycling and stand a chance to win an ASUS laptop! Boy, how cool is that?

I mean, by cleaning up your house from all those junks scattering around and yet, you may very well be on the way to win a laptop woohooo!!!!!!

So back to the story, we were thinking we stand quite a good chance out there competing with the others but WHAMM!!!!! Our hopes were crushed by the end of the day. We thought we were kiasu enough to carry so many heavy old newspapers to uni like some idiots but some people, can really really outshine us.

We transport those recycle items by car but other people, transport it by van. So you tell me, how to compete??? kalah teruk teruk la.....then hor, nevermind lor but manatau there's one particular person (i dunno who) actually transport his goods by using a LORRY! a freaking real big lorry i tell you!

kalah x2!

So after seeing a couple of vans and lorry, i wholeheartedly think these people should win the laptop. With all those efforts poured in or should i say to that extend they were willing to do just for the laptop they can have it walk away with the laptop.

By the end of the day, although i didn't stand a chance to win, but i can still proudly claim that i can have a good night sleep. As Mary says, "Ethics can't' fill your stomach, but it can make you have a peaceful sleep".

P/S: The funny thing is, we just had a tutorial lesson on ethics just hours before this incidents. Pretty good timing right?
