Penang, here i come!

Yes!!!!!!! at last i can have my long overdue holidays!!!! I am going to Penang this sunday woohoo !!!!! Pearl of the Orient, i am coming!!!


Okla i know its just Penang la nothing to shout about la. What to do? I am just a poor student ma, no money, passport pun takda, where else can i go wor? Can only go for holiday locally lor within peninsular Malaysia. Cuti-cuti Malaysia ma...Must support our country's tourism effort ma, must maintain our currency bla bla bla...*yawn~~ half-asleep with the ceramah d*


I've only been to Penang a couple of times in my life. Twice for work purposes and another time is also related to work where i was basically at the borderline of Penang and Perak. Since it was this close, we was like "what the heck! Might as well just go Penang makan as well" and poof! off we go to Penang just for the food *feigned innocent: i swear, the food called me to go de... blink blink*


To me, Penang is basically all about FOOD! Food food food and more food!

Although each time i was there for just a short period, i managed to sampled quite a lot of the local yummy yummy food there. Not a bad feat huh? Seriously hor, i was in Penang just for the food. I'ven been to Penang Road eat their famous cendol, Pasar Air Hitam for the laksa (we Klang ppl called it asam laksa), a stall by the roadside that sells "ai yu ping" (sorry i dunno the road name for this), of course the ever famous Gurney Drive, Swatow Lane, New Lane and many many more that i have no idea where it is located (i don't think snoopy ever properly introduced the places to me, he just brought me there that's it) but the food is certainly delicious. A++



I have never been a tourist there. Until now, i am sad to say that i have never been to Kek Lok Si Temple before. Nor have i been to Penang Hill, or whatever heritage places that is a tourist-must-go places. But hey! I have been to Queensbay Mall and Batu Ferringhi! I have been there to buy some *ehem* DVDs. But that time, i didn't even know that there's a Batu Ferringhi beach there *doinkkk pengsan!*


So this time around, I am so gonna be a tourist! I am so gonna go to all the tourist hot-spots! Rae said that Penang have a UNESCO World Heritage Site which a local born and bred snoopy also not sure of is in Georgetown, the capital city. Psss, i tell you, snoopy wasn't even sure where the museum is located, he probably think that it doesn't exist hehe;p

I Baked Cookies!

Actually i thought i'll bake it on thursday but instead, i baked it today.


My bro actually helped in the process haha that's why it is so much more fun and entertaining. This is really once in a blue moon occasion. Normally, it is super hard to engage his help in anything but today he almost volunteered. Almost. It is almost as good as the real thing.

This is the proof!!! This block of butter has my bro's stamp of approval yo!

The process of making cookie dough is pretty fun...mostly done by my bro *clap clap* but then...oh well...it was almost a disaster.

The dough turn out to be quite lumpy hence cannot be made into my favorite shapes (apple and star shape!!!)


Oh Well, i guess i really shouldn't have altered the recipe. I never thought it will have such a big difference ma!!! I mean, i did not managed to get the exact amount of ingredients that i need so i measured some more, some lesser lor...but total amount is the same ma, how i know the end result is not the same wor-.-"


Since no star shape no apple shape (it bears quite a remarkable resemblance of love shape teehee!) i can only make it into a boring shape, round. So my almond cookies now looks like Rusk but in smaller scale. Hummph...

To make up for the not-so-interesting shape, we made a batch of cookies in that are not so conventional. Haha it is the product born out of my bro's creativity. It is really very cute de lor. See edi sure will make you laugh de haha...



Despite how it may look like, it still taste great. Really! I have tried edi. Smells wonderful lor i tell you...OK, so maybe there are a few cookies that are overcooked it become darkish, but just a few only lor i tell you. Really just a few only!!!! Majority turn out nicely ler...


No picture will be posted of my miserable cookies. They deserves more dignity than this. I can see that some of you are laughing now. Stop belittling my cookies!!! They are edible!!! Edible, i tell you!



Perhaps i should hold my thought of making cakes next . . .My newly bought hand mixer already spoilt on it's first task.Bother! i think that thing kinda overheated or something because i saw sparks of fire ler then i quickly switch it off. Scary man, i was so afraid that my whole house will blackout ler. You think i can bring that thing back to the shop and ask for exchange? Wei i just bought today ler, where can so fast kaput de? They sell me lousy thing ar??? i want my money back!!!

Yoohoo exam's over!!!!


It's officially holz time!!!! OKla so maybe i have a lot to do for my FYP (which almost equal to zero holz) but still, im gonna enjoy it to the fullest!!! Three whole short week for me to do nothing, catch up on my sleep (i have been deprived of it for too long), watch dramas and animes that its with me for too long as though it belongs to me and or course FYP la hehee...


Hahaha im gonna be super busy in this three weeks to cramp everything in. . . . .




Time flew so fast. It is already Sunday. Only last tuesday we send her off in KLIA, now it's already Sunday. 5 days had passed just like that. She is now settling in Leeds nicely d.

It was really emotional to send her off in KLIA...we all kinda dramatic...took many many photos...inclusive of weird photos in hope of cheering her up once she had board the plane and feels bored or sad which i am not sure if she actually does it though



Anyway, although she is far far away on the other half of the globe but still, thanks to the advancement of technology we can practically "see" each other everyday. Virtually of course, using webcam lor!!!


I for one, had set the time differences in my laptop so that we can all find a time to chat hehehe;p

Well, ten months is not too long. She'll come back then. Then we can go eat cakes at Secret Recipe's again just like the old days.

Oh ya! i also found out that apparently i have a friend named 'Adam'. 'Adam Chan' to be specific. Hahaha can't wait to see you, 'Adam'

Im sorry i haven't been updating my site regulartly. This has been quite a busy week for me. Busy with studies...busy with exams...busy with friends' gathering...and of course busy with sending one of my closest friend to KLIA, as she is going to UK to further her study.

As of now, she is safely on her plane on the way to Amsterdam. It is really a very *sobs* emotional time *hic~ hiccup* for me so let's talk about other things for now.


As per request, i have uploaded my pictures before my haircut, and of course after. This is also one of the reasons why it took me so long to update my site because i couldn't find any suitable picture to upload!!! Gosh!!!

So i guess that means that i haven't been taking enough photos of myself...Hmmm perhaps i should ss more? So you guys out there cannot say i keep taking photo lor, cuz i don't have enough photos ok???

NKL, so now you know why i keep popping my face in front of the lense lor. I don't have my own digital camera mah, so each time i see someone holding a camera, all i can do is pose lor ;p

Or else hor, i'll risk having none of my face in any of the photos lor. How can??? Hahaha even Win says it is normal reaction ler. So now i can pop my head in front of cameras without hesitation d hehe *blink!! i see green light* ;p

Hahaha oklar i guess you can't really see much of the differences because both photos were taken at night. Sorry lor but i really can't find a better picture... Never mind, from now on i will work on taking even more photos of myself! This is a promise!!!

New haircut

I went and get myself a new haircut today conveniently dismissing the fact that its exam week and im supposed to stay at home and study. Anyway, today i sat for the second paper, CSA. Oh well, i don't think i did well since i don't even have enough time to actually finish it. But then again, creativity was never my forte. Creativity always turn its back on me and probably stick its tongue at me. OK! so im hopeless in advertising...sobs...

Anyway, back to my haircut. I finally decided to cut my hair short for good. OK lar, not short la cuz im worried that i'll look horrible with short hair and then my hair hor grow ever the slow wan so i can't take such a big chance la in case it turns out wrong, what am i supposed to do? stay at home under the bed one whole year and never gonna meet anybody ever? tsk tsk tsk...too risky.

So i thought im going to cut my hair to shoulder length. Its short, but not too short so in case some slip ups i can still tied up my hair and pretend nothing happen...So i went to this hair salon with my gal friend and i told the hair stylist that i want my hair short.

Guess what? after like 40 minutes, my hair is still not short. Why? Because my hairstylist thinks that i should have just keep my lock. He says that with my face feature, i wouldnt look good in short hair, even if it is just shoulder length. He suggested i perm my hair instead if i want a new hairstyle. Not only that, he also said that i shouldnt have bangs because i wouldnt look cutie enough like those la~la~muis due to my height (which is very mediocre, i assure you). After he uttered this sentence, i was too humiliated to tell him that i have had bangs for like, the last TWO YEARS. My friend was like laughing so hard beside me...

Now that i thought of it, this isnt the first time i have been told that short hair doesnt suits me. I kinda recalled another hair stylist also rejected my request to cut my hair short somewhat last year. Oh well, i guess i really have to keep my hair long after all. So you people out there, don't challenge me to cut my hair short la. You think i don't dare izzit? I tell you, is my hair stylist don't dare lor, not me hahahaha.

So now, my hair length is more or less the same as before, just slightly shorter la or else it wouldnt be called haircut la right and more layered, to give my hair more volumed. I did not take a picture of my new haircut, soli, lazy la...you'll get to see it when you see me haha;) There isnt much of a shock element anyway...too bad snoopy, i know how much you look forward to it...

Im so sick!

Final is coming!!!!

I am supposed to study non-stop for my final exams which is due next monday. I am supposed to race with time. I shouldnt be wasting any time away because every second is crucial.

And i just have to fall sick at this time. Down!

As a result, i slept the day and night away. Just when i cant afford to wasted anytime, i had to fall sick now. Of all time, now, when time is my biggest enemy. Sweat!

Monday is a killer subject~~~ I am so doomed now.

I need a lot of miracles now!!!!! Help~!
