MJ & Farrah

It's been more than a week that our beloved icon, MJ had left this world. By now, I'm sure everyone had come to grip of this sad, shocking news about our King of Pop. How the world mourned the departed pop legend. How everyone is still talking about it until today. During lunchtime, dinnertime, and even mamak session. How everyone claimed what a loss it is to our nation etc etc etc...

Ironically, Farrah Fawcett also R.I.P. on the same day as MJ! Yet, the attention she's been getting is pretty much dimmer than MJ. IF not a whole lot dimmer. If you were to ask anyone down the street who is Farrah Fawcett, chances are they are gonna give you a quizzical look and reply , "Farrah who?"

Farrah Fawcett

Sex symbol in the seventies

Yeah I know, many people would not know who she is because she's a 70's icon. Like, way before I was born. However, I have seen hit television series of Charlie's Angels, and I'm fond of her eversince.

I thought that she have a great wavy blond hair and a face that are forever lit up with a dazzling smile. She is was indeed a beautiful lady. She was a sex symbol back in 70's too, no less! And probably last year, I've seen her picture in a tabloid magazine, attending a red carpet event and boy, she was as lovely as ever! Her looks remain the same, albeit some wrinkles. Afterall, that lady was in her sixties! I thought that she aged with grace, as she look exactly as I remembered her when she was starring at Charlie's Angels series.

when she's around 60 years old

Oh how I admired her. I do hope she rest in peace...

She was less mentioned by the media compared to MJ. But that doesn't mean she deserves any less... Okay, back to MJ.

Like what crossbun have said, when he was still alive, barely any good words were spoken of him. Most of the time, people would ridiculed him for bleaching his skin from brown to white (ghastly white soon after), how insane he was to dangled his baby over the balcony of 4-storeys high, oh and what about his so-called child molesting case?

dramatic change of skin colour which he claimed is a disease he was suffering from

Yeah, Im sure there's plenty of nasty words thrown in his way. (eg: he's insane, wacko, weirdo, etc etc etc) But upon the news that he was dead, everyone seemed to miss him sorely and every possible good words about him were spoken without any hesitation! Ironic?

But if everyone would just take a step back and think, who killed MJ? Was it really a sudden cardiac arrest?

Something to ponder upon:

1) MJ's father
he's the one that caused MJ to be what he is/was now. He mercilessly pushed him to fame. At the age of 5, Mj is seen as a money-maker to his dad, Joe. He's the one responsible for MJ having such a bad childhood that he's afraid of everything. He broke MJ, and the reason why MJ was always lonely and vulnerable, and gentle.

MJ during his early days

2) The media
the media or rather, paparazzi was always pestering him (well its a price to pay for famous) for a scoop. Tabloids magazines and yellow journalism always sensationalized his news and distort it in order to make the magazines sell. After all, people loves to read dirt about another person.

3) The people
people who loved reading about his dirt and then gossip about it everywhere make the matter worst. Suddenly, everything seems so believable and nobody knows what's the truth anymore.

4) The doctors/Surgeons/Dermathologists etc
Those money suckers who do not have an ounce of humanity in their bodies. All they do is forever sucking big money out of MJ because they think it's good money and they want a piece of the superstar too!!!

5) MJ's financial planner and all his staffs
I supposed no one really cared about him. Everyone was too busy trying to milked him. That is partly why MJ is in such a huge debt now. After all, if his Financial Manager had managed his money & property properly by giving good advises, I'm sure MJ would not "overspend" and be in such a sad state, economy wise.

So it seemed that everyone wants a piece of MJ. And now, I supposed, the wish is granted. MJ is cornered with no way escape, except perhaps, to meet the Maker.

Rest in peace...
