Year 3 Semester 2 is officially over yesterday...well, minus the exams i mean...without realising it, this short semester is over. The pass 7 weeks was like...i dunno, it kinda slip passed through me without me realising it. OMG!!! It's exam time again!
ERrrr....let's not go there...let's talk of something else shall we?
Let's see, oh ya, yesterday being the last day of the semester, our lecturer gave all of us the feedbacks for all the campaigns...Sadly, i wasn't in the lecture hall. I know, i know, it's such an important session and i missed it! Sigh...i'm pretty sad about it too *watery eyed*
You see, i wasn't able to make it in time because i was late. Now why was i late? I was doing my FYP all night long till almost dawn. So i was super exhausted and hence overslept! *bummer*
By the time i reached uni, (without breakfast or brunch) i still didn't make it. So i have to sit outside waiting till she finished her "session" then only can i go in and see the remarks given by all tutors. Not to mentioned, take a lot a lot of photographs with my campaign members! *weee yippiee*
Lucky enough that quite a number of people brought their camera as mine, heh..the battery exhausted within a few minutes. (sorry lor i don't have time to recharge my battery ma, i was busy with my FYP remember?)
Speaking of the campaign, the night before i had sent out an email to everyone suggesting that we wear our campaign tshirts for last round of photograph session. Only ONE replied my email. Hence i was very worried, thinking this will not worked out *sobs*
But i don't want to admit defeat so easily hence i put it in my Facebook status and hoping others will noticed it and...well make it a success of course! God willing, quite a number of them noticed it and the reply was more than favorable.
Still not satisfied, i even PM those who was still online in MSN (that time was past 12am, quite late) and remind them to wear our campaign tshirt plus get them to spread the news to all their friends. I even SMSed to some of them!
Hahaha see how gung-ho i was with all the tshirts and photo session thing? Hehehe i'm quite proud of myself ^.^v Didn't know i can achieved it.
On that faithful day, 70% turn out wearing the campaign tshirt! YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! i was more than happy because the results is as good as it can get! With such a short notice, i'm sure the news won't be able to reach ALL people, but most, is good enough for me ;)
Initially, i thought it's gonna be just a handful of us wearing it-.-"
P/S: this wearing campaign tshirt thingy was first done by the seniors (Breast cancer group) and later adopted by EL group. Thanks to some nice EL members that share this idea with me so that i can share it with all my campaign members as well! Good things are meant to be shared ain't it?!

Double happiness
Today is a good day. Quite good. Really.
It could have been better of course, but can't complain...
Happiness no. 1:
Not too long ago, there's these three girls betting on who will get the higher marks for a particular assignment. One of the girls were pretty upset and negative....keep thinking she'll die and fail her assignment. That is utter rubbish of course because she is capable to pull it through, despite what she thinks of herself.
To cut the story short, three girls then have a bet to motivate each other. The bet was, IF the girl get higher marks (means she win la) she will treat the other two girls a Secret Recipe's cake each. But if she lost the bet, the other two girls will have to buy her Starbucks coffee. Fair enough.
And of course, she won at the end of the day, by one mark! Hahahahaha so Secret Recipe's cake is on her lor ;p And this girl is crossbun.
Hahahaha i think she must have felt kinda torn between happy for getting good marks and annoyed for having to fork out money buying us cakes....The ones that walks away with the cakes were yours truly and Mary hahahaha....EJ kinda annoyed for not making the bet as well so he missed out the chance...ngek ngek ngek...
Thanks for the cheese cake, Crossbun! muacks!
Happiness no. 2:
Out of the blue, Dior Mobile truck came to our uni! Okay okay not really to our uni, but nearby. Practically just across the road (outside Jaya One).
Yes, Dior. As in Christian Dior. THE Christian Dior.
So this mobile truck was actually here to promote their new mascara, Diorshow, Iconic. All you have to do is try out the new mascara (Dior girls will applied it for you), fill up your particulars and voila! You'll be given a small sample of mini Iconic to try it out at home.
Just like that! Simple isn't it? Now tell me, which girl won't go "wahhhhhhhh" when Dior is giving out free samples??? It's not cheap ok? One wand of mascara cost RM98 lerrr....and it can only last you for three months...after three months you have to discard it whether you finished using it or not (to avoid contamination, breeding ground for bacteria which will cause skin allergy).
So yayyy!!!!!!!!!! double happiness.......to know more about Dior Iconic Mascara or their mobile truck thingy, click here
Okay folks, I'm off to eat my cheese cake now, so tata!
It could have been better of course, but can't complain...

What's happening
today is a happening day. Because a lot of things happened of course.
First, today is our last tutorial with PRPM tutor as she will be flying off to Belgium with her husband pretty soon. Syok hor??? And i also found out that Belgium people speaks French, German, and Dutch language! Not only is Belgium famous for its sinfully delicious chocolates and beer, apparently it's also well known for its diamonds....*bling bling*yayaya i am katak bawah tempurung so?
on an unrelated event...
my mates and i were pretty excited about the coming campaign especially the part about recycling and stand a chance to win an ASUS laptop! Boy, how cool is that?
I mean, by cleaning up your house from all those junks scattering around and yet, you may very well be on the way to win a laptop woohooo!!!!!!
So back to the story, we were thinking we stand quite a good chance out there competing with the others but WHAMM!!!!! Our hopes were crushed by the end of the day. We thought we were kiasu enough to carry so many heavy old newspapers to uni like some idiots but some people, can really really outshine us.
We transport those recycle items by car but other people, transport it by van. So you tell me, how to compete??? kalah teruk teruk la.....then hor, nevermind lor but manatau there's one particular person (i dunno who) actually transport his goods by using a LORRY! a freaking real big lorry i tell you!
kalah x2!
So after seeing a couple of vans and lorry, i wholeheartedly think these people should win the laptop. With all those efforts poured inor should i say to that extend they were willing to do just for the laptop they can have it walk away with the laptop.
By the end of the day, although i didn't stand a chance to win, but i can still proudly claim that i can have a good night sleep. As Mary says, "Ethics can't' fill your stomach, but it can make you have a peaceful sleep".
P/S: The funny thing is, we just had a tutorial lesson on ethics just hours before this incidents. Pretty good timing right?

Consumer rights campaign
Here are some of the photos of our consumer rights campaign.

Next would be photos taken the night before the campaign launch. Everyone stayed back at uni til past midnight to decorate the hall and finished up all preparation for the big day, not to mentioned rehearsal of the flow of event and also to set the timing.
Previously, we have rehearsals as well but this time was the FULL rehearsal with all the props set up, lighting and sound systems which were fully sponsored!!! Grand huh??? I thought so ^.^
that round round thing in the middle of the table is actually a light bulb which will be use for launching... beside it the yellow-ish ball-like is actually a transparent bulb that Joyce painstakingly stick it with paper so that it will give a translucent glow...
Haha kidding lar. We did not set any fire in our uni or anything of that sort. It is just the effects of the smoke machine/generator or whatever you called it
Okay, now i'll show you a lil bit of what's going on during the campaign launch.
One of our main highlight of the day is the presence of a Malaysian celebrity, Mr Alan Yun! *clap clap clap* so nice of him to spare some of his precious time to grace our event.
I heard that he was a great success where everyone fought to snap photos with him. I wasn't there in the room though so i missed out all the fun. I was busy with something else...sobs...
Heard that he was quite a looker and definitely a charmer. Great emcee skills and a great person inside out...*awwwwww*
P/S: No real mascot was shown because i don't want to be skinned alive as i valued my life very much...hahahaha also, i respect mascot's wishes and hey, comic mascot was just as cute!
P/P/S: For more professional photos of our event, please visit this site. It is done by one of our professional photographer who is kind enough to offer us his assistance without wanting anything in return.
ENJOY~
game booth: "count N win"
our supposedly twin tower (err only one of it i mean) to tak jadi version of KL tower (very imbalance) to now sort-of Eiffel Tower-like structure made from numerous mineral water cups...

I am free...not quite
Woohoo!!!!
I am finally a free girl after today!
Haha (1) my campaign was over last wednesday (no more constant worries, tension, stress of the uncertainty of what if~~~ or deprived of sleep) (2) my assignment was handed in last friday (no more editing and compiling and doing 'table content page' god that was so tedious) and last but not least, (3) my presentation was over today!
YAYYYY!!!!!!!!
(1) turn out to be great...of course with its fair share of hitch here and there la...but at least leaves a very deep impact on most people and it is our hard work ok? I am so proud of our campaign that i chose to forget about the 'hiccups' and concentrate on the brilliant part... it would seems that many people were practically betting that we would fail this time around (like again!) but guess what???
WE HAVE MADE IT THROUGH! ALL OF US WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS CAMPAIGN A SUCCESS! WE DID IT GUYS! THIS IS TO ALL OF YOU~~~
(2) well, after all the last minute editing in uni, i think it was worth it...though i think we still did not managed to do it exactly like the way our tutor wants it, or rather, expect it, but hey, we did out best! and that's what matters, isnt?? so i'm happy too hehe!
(3) the presentation has come 'hiccups' here and there but overall it was okay. I mean, i gotta admit there's flaws and errors but then at the end of the day, we are just human and humans make mistakes.... Nothing too serious that was unrepairable though...I still think we did great...we are on the right track... well i guess we just need to wait for the results to be released then we will know how we fare isnt?
Oh ya! I've gotten back my quizzes results today! Guess what? I did quite well on the first quiz! Yayy!!!! Haha that was unexpected but it was an opened book test and i just copied everything in kuakuakua~...
The second quiz though i did not fare as well. In fact it was quite bad that my happiness for the first test quickly evaporated once i saw the second quiz result. This time no books are allowed so...it explains how 'smart' i am eh? kuakuakua~
Oh and i am not free actually. Although i wished i am
Please GOD i beg you, make me stronger and resist all evil temptations in order to finish off my FYP...
*yawn*

Hot deal from Air Asia
If you don't know by now that Air Asia (Malaysian Low-Cost Carrier) is giving away 500,000 free seats from 12-16 November then you are seriously out-of-this world! That's like, the hottest thing ever now!
For a limited period of time (naturally) Air Asia is omitting fuel surcharge!!!! Now we only have to pay for airport taxes and admin fees, thats all. Click here if you want to know more about it.
They are truly committed into their goal, "Everyone Can Fly" aren't they??? Free booking online starts from November 12 to November 16 2008 and the flying period is from June 22 - October 22, 2009. Available to all their destination routes.
I've wanted to go to Bali at first but i made a mistake by taking my time to decide hence, the next day when i wanted to book online, all the flights are full! Can you believe it???and i was happily chatting away with my friends wondering if i should go bali or hong kong instead in the afternoon
All these seats were snapped in A DAY! People are fast, aren't they??? Don't they have better things to do like work????
Kissed goodbye to Bali, i revert my eyes on other available destinations...like Vientiane, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Krabi, where ample seats are still available. Hahaha no one wanted to go to Krabi or Bangkok or Phuket because of Thai bombing hahahahaha *just joking*
But then hor, i monitored the prices like a hawk thus i realised one thing. This package that i am interested suddenly increased the price by a freaking RM200!!!! What a blood sucker man! The prices can fluctuate like nobody's business! One must really be a smart consumer and monitor the prices or else been cheated also don't know ler....isk isk isk....
Hahahaha i am a smart consumer, proud-nya! *gloating*
Therefore, my advice is, hurry if you are interested or else you'll regret it (like me). As of now, most seats are selling like hot cakes fresh out from the oven..... but no harm in trying though...
you still have 2 more days to go!!!
Happy flying people!

Finally
I know i know, i haven't updated this site for quite some times dee.... what to do? yours truly was and still is super busy with uni, campaign, rehearsal, assignment, interviews, presentation (soon to be).........
SEE????? I am THAT busy!
i have not logged on to Facebook like, since forever. Shopping was once my favorite past time but now i seldom throng the malls (unless you count going to Jusco to buy blazer as one) In fact, im always sleepy nowadays due to lack of sleep (duh!) and can't concentrate much during lectures or tutorials.
However, after today, i think i will have a sound sleep at last (although less than 8 hours!) because a heavy burden was lifted up from my shoulder. Today, part of the most headache things that had happened in my life is over.
Finally!!! It's over.
After all the sweat, tears, drama, anger, frustration, stress, tension, friction, emotional explosives, it's over.
All in the name of campaign.
Despite all mentioned above, i am still very proud of all my team members all 36 of you! Each of you is wonderful because you have contribute to make this campaign a success!!!
Hurrah!!!! *clap clap*
Most of you really amazed me and i see the other side of you and your capability. It would seems, if all of us put our heart into what we do and believe in what we are doing, we can do it!
Throughout this period of time (half a year is a long period of time ok) i have gain new friendships....and also enemies for sure. Don't get me wrong, i am not proud of it, but then again, i can't really be bothered, can i?
Now i will be heading to my slumber. My big and cozy bed looks very inviting.....good night peeps!
