The other day as i was stuck in a massive traffic congestion in Klang Town, this particular banner caught my attention.

It read; 2 ADJACEMENT SHOPS FOR RENT & contact numbers without name.

adjacement?

Erm, is there such a word as "adjacement"? Or perhaps my trusty old Oxford Dictionary is no longer trustable???

Well, gauging from both the shops side by side was empty, i think the word they are trying to use here is adjacent.

They (whomever it is) might have rented the shops out by now if they've checked the words carefully before printing it on a banner. Why? to avoid confusing potential renters by sending them to the dictionaries instead of course!

Big car and Bigger driver

Ok! You asked for it. Don't say i didn't warned you. . .


Sometimes i really hate female drivers. And now is one of those time. Yes! I am a female and i am a driver too. Now you may think why am i berating my own sex? What's with women's power or equal rights or not to be looked down upon by the men thus women must support back women blablabla... i am sure you men out there are gloating now.

Some female drivers are really ________ *fill the blank with your choice of word(s).*

Let me share with you my encounters with female drivers today. As i was driving at the Federal Highway, the car in front of me is a Honda CRV. As i see the CRV is moving to the left lane (i was at the left lane because i am a safe driver and i don't speed haha) because a car was about to takeover the CRV. The CRV nicely block my way without signaling (nevermind lor i can close my eyes on that since it is the culture no big deal).


But hor, the CRV DID NOT ACTUALLY CHANGE TO LEFT LANE COMPLETELY. It was actually driving IN BETWEEN both left lane and middle lane! Can you believe it???


It means hor, yours truly cannot speed up and overtake the stupid CRV nor can yours truly change lane to middle lane (with signal indicating i want to change lane of course).


Stupid Right?? I did not realized that CRV is so humongous that it had to take up TWO lane. And it is a straight-not-congested-highway-on-a-saturday, mind you. The big 6-wheels truck also did not take up two blardy lane i tell you! The whole scenario makes me wonder how a big 6-wheels truck can maintain in one lane when a CRV itself was humongous enough to take two?


And of course, the answer reveal itself when yours truly at last managed to overtake the CRV. It was a female driver. That's the only conclusion i can think of.


You may say that maybe that CRV is a new car le? Ppl afraid ma... Your ass head la! I have known many people that drives bigger and more expensive cars than that and yet no one acted as though they are so special ok? If she drives a BMW then she ma required police to escort her car whenever she drives?? Make no sense right?


The next female driver that pissed me off is an auntie! I was searching for parking at the market this morning and this auntie driving a Kancil was about to reverse her car and go. I happily thought i so lucky found a parking spot, faster signaled to indicate i saw the spot first lor.

BUT hor, she reversed halfway then stopped there. I thought she is just afraid of the cars that passes by because that road is pretty narrow and near market ma so naturally a lot of cars lor.


But no. As i waited for sometime i see the car is still not leaving, i gave up and move away. (I repeat, she had clearly reversed halfway out so I am definitely not having misinterpretation here ok) I found out that the auntie was happily chatting on her mobile phone without having the courtesy to indicate that she does not plan to leave just yet. She does not care that i am waiting for her parking spot and that the road is pretty congested because of her!


No, she just happily chat away and giving people false hope is no big deal. The world can stop for her. What the _____!!!!!


It's not that i want to look down on my own sex, but then, one can't help but wonder where all these incredible drivers come from? How on earth did they managed to get their driving license?


Yes, i admit i do have my share of flaws as a driver as well. But at least, i can happily say that i DO NOT think that my car is so humongous that i have to take up TWO lanes nor do i decided to talk on phone while reversing my car halfway, then decided against it and congested the whole road.

Breakfast anyone?

Lately i seems to have developed a fondness for Tappers, a restaurant-sort-of-cafe located in Jaya One, PJ. It's near my campus and best of all, the prices there are reasonable. Wi-Fi provided and NO SERVICE CHARGE OR GOVERNMENT TAX!!! Students get 10% discounts too!!!

I kinda like the ambiance there...very english...soothing atmosphere...not too loud...just nice. the first time i was there, they played chinese oldies...which i think is odd because it kinda contrast with the english setting. But now, they plays english songs d...it must have either struck them out of a sudden of the weirdness or we were talking too loud and the boss overheard it haha.

As for the food there, i would say not bad. At least the dishes i chose was not bad...some are not as delicious as it seems but generally it is alrite...

This sounds like a free advertorial, no? Hmm... now that i think of it, perhaps i should have charge them for advertising fee hahaha...

-Change of Skin-

OMG!!! i really had a hard time trying to change my blog skin...first i spend hours scouring the sites looking for the perfect skin...then when i actually found one, it is not usable....say dunno wut error la...html coding prob la...et cetera.

Being someone who knows nuts about html coding, you can imagine how despairing it is. Html coding and javascripts and those alike still looks like some weird alien language to me. Although i will say i find it less intimidating now, but still, it is not exactly my best of friend.

Thank god this world have someone who actually understand all this unique form of language. To them it probably is just as simple as ABC. But to me, its tougher than the toughest algebra! Thanks to my KL friend for helping me today! It is deeply appreciated! Truly!

Although after all the trials and errors i did at home much later, it is still not perfect yet. It's OK. I will work on it. Gambate!

nabeh! today i very angry lor! have u ever been called retarded right to your face? shit man! i cant believe it...this is so unbelievable!

women's mood swing is really scary...it can make some people downright temperament...this is the time when apologize also cant help to sooth the temper...darn!

when a women get upset....and i do mean really really upset, she will become downright impossible to deal with. She will just leash out anything that comes to her mind or fancy. When you are in this situation, my advice is, do nothing. The more you try to sooth her nerves the more impossible she will be.

Why? because you are stroking her ego lor that's why! Even when she humiliates you in public, you shall keep quiet. If she gives you the direct cut, you shall accept it my arse.

In fact, i think you should even be thanking her for shredding your confidence apart. Thank her for making you feel so lowly, so unworthy...Even if the situation is not what she's thinking, you shall not be correcting her, less she give you "the look" and subject to one of her lectures again.


So conclusion is, just swallow it, even if the process might choke you to your premature death.
Take it in a stride....forget the fact that your self-esteem is lowered in another's eye....hmm which leads to defamation, no? ;p
