MJ & Farrah

It's been more than a week that our beloved icon, MJ had left this world. By now, I'm sure everyone had come to grip of this sad, shocking news about our King of Pop. How the world mourned the departed pop legend. How everyone is still talking about it until today. During lunchtime, dinnertime, and even mamak session. How everyone claimed what a loss it is to our nation etc etc etc...

Ironically, Farrah Fawcett also R.I.P. on the same day as MJ! Yet, the attention she's been getting is pretty much dimmer than MJ. IF not a whole lot dimmer. If you were to ask anyone down the street who is Farrah Fawcett, chances are they are gonna give you a quizzical look and reply , "Farrah who?"

Farrah Fawcett

Sex symbol in the seventies

Yeah I know, many people would not know who she is because she's a 70's icon. Like, way before I was born. However, I have seen hit television series of Charlie's Angels, and I'm fond of her eversince.

Bottom left: Jill Munroe (Farrah) with the Angels

I thought that she have a great wavy blond hair and a face that are forever lit up with a dazzling smile. She is was indeed a beautiful lady. She was a sex symbol back in 70's too, no less! And probably last year, I've seen her picture in a tabloid magazine, attending a red carpet event and boy, she was as lovely as ever! Her looks remain the same, albeit some wrinkles. Afterall, that lady was in her sixties! I thought that she aged with grace, as she look exactly as I remembered her when she was starring at Charlie's Angels series.

when she's around 60 years old

Oh how I admired her. I do hope she rest in peace...

She was less mentioned by the media compared to MJ. But that doesn't mean she deserves any less... Okay, back to MJ.

Like what crossbun have said, when he was still alive, barely any good words were spoken of him. Most of the time, people would ridiculed him for bleaching his skin from brown to white (ghastly white soon after), how insane he was to dangled his baby over the balcony of 4-storeys high, oh and what about his so-called child molesting case?

dramatic change of skin colour which he claimed is a disease he was suffering from

Yeah, Im sure there's plenty of nasty words thrown in his way. (eg: he's insane, wacko, weirdo, etc etc etc) But upon the news that he was dead, everyone seemed to miss him sorely and every possible good words about him were spoken without any hesitation! Ironic?

But if everyone would just take a step back and think, who killed MJ? Was it really a sudden cardiac arrest?

Something to ponder upon:

1) MJ's father
he's the one that caused MJ to be what he is/was now. He mercilessly pushed him to fame. At the age of 5, Mj is seen as a money-maker to his dad, Joe. He's the one responsible for MJ having such a bad childhood that he's afraid of everything. He broke MJ, and the reason why MJ was always lonely and vulnerable, and gentle.

MJ during his early days

2) The media
the media or rather, paparazzi was always pestering him (well its a price to pay for famous) for a scoop. Tabloids magazines and yellow journalism always sensationalized his news and distort it in order to make the magazines sell. After all, people loves to read dirt about another person.

3) The people
people who loved reading about his dirt and then gossip about it everywhere make the matter worst. Suddenly, everything seems so believable and nobody knows what's the truth anymore.

4) The doctors/Surgeons/Dermathologists etc
Those money suckers who do not have an ounce of humanity in their bodies. All they do is forever sucking big money out of MJ because they think it's good money and they want a piece of the superstar too!!!

5) MJ's financial planner and all his staffs
I supposed no one really cared about him. Everyone was too busy trying to milked him. That is partly why MJ is in such a huge debt now. After all, if his Financial Manager had managed his money & property properly by giving good advises, I'm sure MJ would not "overspend" and be in such a sad state, economy wise.

So it seemed that everyone wants a piece of MJ. And now, I supposed, the wish is granted. MJ is cornered with no way escape, except perhaps, to meet the Maker.

Rest in peace...

Hannah Montana

The other day I've just watched Hannah Montana: The Movie.

Don't ask why. It's just an option from all the other unavailable options.

Well, it's basically a tween movie about this Hannah girl, who leads a double life as THE famous superstar Hannah, and also as a normal teenage school-going girl, Miley. Of course, the whole thing about this show is how she have to choose, between fame and normal.

Geez, like how hard is that?

So the daddy thinks his little girl is losing herself in fame, that he practically forced her to missed a red-carpet event to be home by the countryside for the granny's birthday!

famous superstar, stranded by the road with all her make-up kits..pink, nontheless!

cooped in the chicken barn

met her cowboy^^

had her first date with a hot guy: DISASTER!

Anyway, as this is a tween movie for young girls out there, therefore the movie has a very bubbly personality to it. Practically no villain to be seen anywhere. Unless you considered Tyra Banks as one-.-"

Pretty much the whole movie was heavily infused with songs and dance and well, teenage girl's life before college. No villain, no bad guy, every one is as good as can be...zzzzZZZZ

Oh where was I? Yes, good guy! The guy is cute though. Miley/Hannah's crush. A cute cowboy^^

Oh and her daddy. Now that's a hawt man there. Billy Cyrus! *drool* Who would have thought that daddy would look this good? Who cares if in that movie this daddy is all easy going and bla bla bla????

Hawt daddy~

And last but not least, this is my fav part!!! You really gotta see it to understand what i mean....Those who have watched it, I know you are grinning there recalling the scene....Enjoy!!!!

Transformer 2: ROTF

Yesterday I had a date with Snoopy to watch Transformer 2: Revenge of The Fallen. Directed by Michael Bay, released on 23/24 June 2009. Yeah I know, everyone is just interested in hot sexay Megan Fox, who cares bout Michael Bay who right?

The show was awesome! Lot's of action pack. Wonderful show to enthrall boys out there. Do not despair, despite all the explosions stuff, this show is just as great for ladies out there. Really not bad. Go give it a try!

It was awesome, but I wouldn't say it's exceptionally good though. Perhaps because we went in late and missed the front part of the show, but I feel that this Transformer sequel was not properly "introduced" to the audience.

But I'll give it the benefits of doubt as yours truly here might just give it another go. Anyone wanna go watch with me?????

Apart from action stuff, its pretty humorous too. What not with the catchy dialogues (thumbs up to the scriptwriters) and the director too who managed to inject humor element in an action pack movie.

If that don't appeal you yet, try this:

JOSH DUHAMEL in soldier uniform! He roxx!!!!

Or a sexy girl that knows about engines which is hot enough to set the room ablaze?

sexy Megan

If car is your thing, check this out! everyone's favourite, Bumblebee (the yellow sleek Camero) and the "twins"

The funny "twins" actually looked like this after the "transform"!

Cool huh?

Ok enough said, just go to the nearest cinema and watch this movie!

Optional: Bring me along too!!!!

P/s: Those photos i got from the internet (the wonders of Google!) and credits goes to whomever it belongs!

CONVO

Received a letter from Uni today. It's bout CONVO. YAYYY!!!!!!

There's a long tiny prints of details which I find it confusing and can't be bother to read it word by word from front to the back, duh! I think a simple phone call to any of my mates would be faster and more kind to my eyes.

Well, from what I gathered, my Convocation Ceremony would be held at Wisma MCA (like, what else is new?) on the first week of AUGUST!

Like, what the hell? All these years our Convo were always the last week of August and now? a change of President brings a change in Convo date as well?

Damn! @@.... First week of August! I can foresee now that many people would have their convo around that time too. I'm sure some of our other's friend's Convo would fall on the same date which means, we cannot attend respective Convo. And if that's not bad enough, our mutual friends would have to split to attend everyone's Convo.

And there's so many people graduating this time of year *whined*

Double Damn!

Of all thirty one days in August and IF Snoopy's Convo just have to fall on the same date as mine, it would definitely be triple DAMN!!!!

Anyway, just to repeat myself, my Convo would be held on 8th August 2009 at Wisma MCA, Jalan Ampang. Time I really don't know. It is 730am for me, but for all friends out there, I think 930am should be alright, no?

So, anyone coming for my Convo???? ^^v

p/s: a subtle reminder, YOU better be ^^V

Unexpected discovery

School holidays were a crazy time for me. Since it's holidays, every students are exceptionally free, they, or rather their parents will flood their kids at my work place. Last thursday was the worst of all, the place was so crowded and noisy that I thought I was in a mad circus! So many students that we don't even have time to go to the toilet. What a day.

Workload is piling up and things get messier. Hopefully I did not lead them astray...

On another note, I met a HOT guy!

I mean, he's really cute. He's quiet and aloof, but in a good way because it suits his character. Not that I know his character or something because I have not spoken to him but that's not the point. His looks portray intellect and sensibility. His aura spells quiet charm that seems to attract moth to fire. Well in this case, I'm the moth and he's the fire.

His casually stylish dressing just all the more make him more charming and distinguish. His hair which where slightly wavy is like inviting females to run our hands over it. His slow but steady stride just oozes confidence and maturity. His tall, lean frame is just right. Not overly thin, not overly lanky. Perfect!

Oh man, what a gorgeous hunk he is! And the best bonus of all is he is splendidly rich. Or rather, his parents are super loaded! Don't you think he had it all? He had charm, brain and money! And I swear he's very much real!

However, we were both two different world apart. As stylish as he is, I'm very much a plain Jane. He speaks an impeccable English while I speak a barely coherent Manglish. After SPM, he went straight to Aussie to further study, and had been staying there ever since. As for me, I haven't even been to oversea. Bummer!

He will be back in Malaysia during holidays for visiting whereas I will be working during holidays to gain some $$$. He's so worldly while I'm like an ignorant frog. Being anywhere in the same room as him also makes me inwardly cringed in shame and inferiority.

Oh did I mentioned where I've met this charming boy? At a most unexpected place ever imaginable to meet cute guys. At my uncle's home.

During his funeral.

And he's my cousin that I've only met a couple of times in my entire life.

What a shame.

I'm drooling over my relative -.-"

Haiz, lucky for all girls out there that might be his girlfriend and eventually, his wife.

My boring life

Nothing extraordinary is going on in my life now, which explains why the lack of updates here. But then again, another bigger culprit would be due to my laziness. I guessed I've reached the height of laziness imaginable.

Nowadays, my daily routine would be wake up, clean up, eat lunch, go work, come back from work, bathe, occasionally eat supper and go to bed. And so the circle repeats itself the next day.

Yeap, that's how dull my life is now. Of course, whenever I have any free times, I'll play online game. Ha ha ha... yeap, a boring life Im'm leading now. Nowadays, I don't even surf the net much, nor do i check on FB as regularly as I used to. My life now just revolve around the game I'm addicted now.

As for my work, everything was fine. Everything was the same. I can now guide higher level students hence, higher stress lar. What if I teach wrongly? Shame on me isn't it? Well, what to do? I guess I was just one of those who knows the answer, but don't know how to explain WHY to the students!

The explaination part is killing me!!!!

Besides working part, my health part is also ok. Hahaha, nowadays, from our usual one regular badminton session a week has now increased to twice a week! Look how serious we take our exercise?

Yeap, we are striving to lead a healthy life here omit the facts that after each workout session we will go for a makan session or drinkie session to "restore" our energy

Oh! a sad news to share with all of you. Remember bout my previous post about me having to go for interview? The HR dept of that company had called me and they are interested to hire me hence they were calling hopping to set up an interview session. However, things just did not work out because they have an immediate vacancy but yours truly is otherwise engaged with another company at the moment.

As a mere mortal, of course the idea of straight accepting the job and to hell with my current company now had crossed my mind. But alas, I'm a rational person and I know where I should place my priority despite how gloomy it may be. So to bad, it's their loss hahahahaha..... oklar my loss as well.

But on the bright side, they say they'll leave my application open, so perhaps in the future, when they need people they might remember me???? Hope so!

One step at a time

Had my first interview in a long time last friday. It can hardly be called an interview since there's practically no conversation going on. That is to say, there's no Q & A session going on. Instead, I was there to do some tests and filled out a job application form.

Then now, all i have to do, is wait for their call. IF they do decide to call me, after seeing the tests results haha...

I wasn't prepared for any tests actually so I doubt I'll fare extremely well. But then, let's just cross fingers and hope for the best.

After seeing the company, I was quite satisfied really. I kinda like the working environment there. It's really not bad. No toll and I believe the traffic there should be more forgiving then Subang or PeeJay. Nearer to my house...what's more can I ask for?

So far, the only drawback that I can think of is food. From what I've glimpse of, there seems to be no makan place around. Unless they have a cafeteria, else it means that even for lunch I have to drive. Although it takes less than 5 minutes driving distance to the nearest shop lots which are bound to have some makan place, but it seems like a hassle to me. I guess, I'm not used to the idea of purposely driving out each and every time for lunch.

But then, no point in thinking so much now, it's not like I've got the job or what.

Back to present, I've been upgraded again. Haha short of using the word "promoted" which it seems like but not really, I am now able to teach higher level students. Of course, still got two to three levels yet before I'll reach the peak. One step at a time...

I was told, with each advancing level, I'll get a salary increment. I so hope this is true. After all, I can really do with some extra money. God knows, I'm short of cash now.

Closed Chapter

When results was out on monday, you have no idea of the mad circus that goes behind it. I got to know about it when crossbun called me frantically. However, at that time, I was working. I'm indisposed to answer calls.

So what I do was, I secretly text her asking bout her call. Then she told me about the result's out etc. As happy as I was for able to check my result finally, but alas, I was working, hence indisposed. Undeterred by my predicament, I asked her bout her result; was it good? bad? was it better than expected? or was it within her expectation?

And this is her exact reply: "Good.. it was better than i expected! I'm beyond words... ;)

It kinda boost me up hearing that. Firstly, I'm so happy for her because she totally deserved it. Secondly, I hoped her good fortune will rub on me too so that I can get as good result as her. It kinda give me a preparation before I can go home and check the result.

So finally I was home and logged on to the computer. There I was so ecstatic about the whole result thing and BAM! I can't logged on to my uni website portal! Damn!

I've tried logging on to other websites such as Facebook, Email etc. everything else was working fine. So it is definitely my connection problem because my internet connection seems to be in perfectly working order.

Then My girl was calling and asking bout my results and we chatted for awhile. She too was anxious bout my result. She offered to check my result for me but i declined. Simply because I want to be the first to see my own results with my own eyes. I don't know why, but it has been this way since years ago.

After I've seen it, then I don't mind telling others bout my result. I guess I want to keep the suspence for myseld haha! Is it just only me? Or do others feel the same as me?

So there I was trying the whole night to logged on to my uni server with futile result. I tried again the next morning. WTH??!!!! I can't even logged on to the internet because there's no internet connection!!!! It seems that SOMEHOW my telephone line went dead!

Stress! Stress!! Stress!!!! STRESS!!!!!!!

I called up Rachel to see if I can check my result at her place and after lunch, I went over to her BF house. Finally, I was able to check my result. Phew!

What can I say? I am contented with my result. It does not exactly make me feel as though I'm beyond words or anything, but I guess it's within my expectation. Or better yet, it did not fully hit my target but I'm happy nontheless. Really contented. I'm at peace now.

Just as predicted by Mary, everyone seems to get quite good results this time. Almost everyone did well. Some even went beyond it.

All in all, result's out and now we can finally closed this chapter of study+exam in our lives. We should find peace with it, and move on with the next chapter, the working life.

Speak of next chapter, I have an interview set at tomorrow morning. BUT I am so under prepared now. It is so sudden that i only got the news today and I don't have time to prepare anything at all! I have not photocopy anything at all to save my life and I'm running out of time. I still have to work today, so getting everything ready today is out of the question!

I'm so not ready for the working world.

The world is so not ready for me...

Teacher's Day!

Sigh! My CPU is not back yet so I cannot upload any pictures for the time being.... Kinda sad...There's just so many pictures I wanna share with all of you..but then...i guess that gotta wait...

Ehem! Now that I have finally upgrade into higher level, I am officially a tutor! Woohoo!

Hahahaha now, all the students have to call me 'teacher'. Ngek ngek ngek...I am guiding the lower level students in their class work and I'm to test their ability. In fact, I have free reign to grade their performance woohoo!!!!

And the best thing of all, I can reprimand students that are naughty or don't respect me. *rub my hands gleefully*

But then again, aside from teaching those students, I am actually also learning along with them. There are just so many things to learn everyday!

You'll be amazed at what children learns nowadays. It is so much in contrast with what I learn during my time. It is just...different.. The level of proficiency is also different. Children's education standard nowadays are so much higher compared to my time.

It is tough to be kids nowadays. Unless you are born smart, or else die trying. I can see how some children can effortlessly do their work whilst some other children are struggling so hard, that they cry out of frustration and fear.

Yup, in my short span of working days (barely a week) I have already seen two kids cried. It's really sad that they still can't grabs the language even after all the trying and hard work and effort put into it.

At times, I think I salute kids nowadays. It is just not easy being kids. Kids two decades ago were definitely having more freedom and fun than kids today.

However, kids two decades ago do not get to travel to Indonesia & China & Australia under the age of six! Nor do they have at least one "kakak" at home to serve their every needs and wants!

Talk about "ho mia" kids-.-" (ho mia = hokkien for good life)

Oh, and tomorrow I'll be celebrating Teacher's Day! Haha I'll be celebrated as a TEACHER!!! How cool is that? Haha I've sorta celebrate Teacher's Day plenty of times back in primary and secondary school, but as the one being celebrated? This will be my first time hahaha!

So what if Malaysian Government fix May 16 as Teacher's Day? My boss however fix tomorrow for our celebration! Haha My Boss, Ms. Lee, coincidently same surname with me, is gonna hold a feast for all the teachers there. Oklar, to be honest I wasn't expecting big luxurious feast anyway, but the thought of doing "noble" thing and being celebrated for it....Hmm sounds nice.... I wonder, in school where most students were forced to perform or chipped in money to celebrate their teacher, how does the teachers feel? Was it an euphoria kinda thing?

Snoopy lamented what a lucky brat I was for I just started work not long and now I'll be able to join the celebration. Haha, well, I agree I am. Maybe it's a small gift from God because he know I still don't have a real proper job yet. So He send me some 'luck' instead. Whatever it is, I am still grateful for what I have ^^

Dream

Damn! I was having this fantastic dream and wham! the next thing I know, I woke up. Bummer. Why do all dreams end up like this? Why can't I complete my dream? Even after i continue sleeping, this same dream don't continue anymore wuwuwuwuwu....

Usually, I don't really dream in my sleep. Even if I do, I have the vaguest idea about it. Rarely I'll remember the details of it. And this is one of those rare time. Everything was so perfect, of course until I wake up that's it. It's kinda like the Cinderella story kinda dream, but in 21st century setting in Malaysia too ^^

Haha I shall not divulge too much of my dream or else the dream won't come true hehehehehe (pssst, i learned this from Cinderella cartoon).

Sigh, what we can't have in reality we might as well enjoyed it in our dream no?

I wonder, tonight if I sleep earlier, would I be able to continue back my very own Cinderella dream? At least, let me know the ending lar, or continue the flow of the story? Hehehehe and of course, my charming dream hubby!!!!!!!!

Okay, I shall go to sleep now hahahahaha or maybe not cuz it's only mid-noon now....sigh...

Come to me, my dream hubby, come to my dream tonight~~~
